Websites with Blurred Images for your Inspiration

Life According to Sam

Photographers are using this blur thing to capture and enhance what they want to focus exactly. Blurring the background not only brings an illusion of depth but also highlights both the images and content. For many business websites that showcases their products to potential online customers use this technique and it is not hard to believe that the blurred background highlights captions, product photos, call to action buttons etc. beautifully and effectively.

Apart from business websites there is another genre of websites called portfolio websites where you would see this blur effect taking its roots. Believe me now if you look again you will see some really fantastic work in this style on web apps or iPhone apps too.

Like some of you I was quite fascinated about the idea of using blurred images on websites so I did some research and got some really good examples of websites with blurred images to share with you. I hope these will inspire you too like I was motivated to use some on my website. Look in these websites and see how other designers have used the blur effect to create beautiful designs.

New Deal Design

New Deal Design
I know it is still not the most used feature in websites images but yet it is gaining its strength and is becoming the hottest trend in web design. Highlighting the key ingredient making everything blur symbolize that though the main service is what you see clearly but there is a lot which we serve.

Hence making the visitor crave for more and surf more for those blurred or hidden services. I t is definitely a good idea to engage visitors on any website. By now you must be inspired enough to create one on your own. Really these designs have sparked some bright ideas in my little head and I am going to try something like this very soon. What about you? Keep Experimenting, Keep Enjoying!
